I got an awesome video off Imesh....it's from the very rare "Star Wars Holiday Special" that ran only one time on CBS in 1978. Most of the actors from the movies appeared in this 2-hour long special, and it was just so terrible that George Lucas had it banned from ever being shown again. You can read a pretty scathing review of the special here. I havent seen the whole thing but there was one good part about the show, a short cartoon portion which featured the very first appearance of my favorite character, Boba Fett. Keep in mind that this special aired well before Boba Fett appeared in The Empire Strikes Back. Anyhoo, now that I sound like a big nerd.....you can see a short portion of the Boba Fett cartoon at this site, it also has alot more info on the whole show in general. And if youre really interested you can get the full video clip from me, its like 9 mins long or somethin. Yeah.

On another note, here are some song recommendations:

1. Ozomatli - Cut Chemist Suite
2. Pantera - Cemetary Gates
3. Dub War - Strike It
4. Ozzy Osbourne - The Road to Nowhere
5. Staind - Can't Believe
6. Pinback - Tripoli (Ace Fu)
7. Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime
8. Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says
9. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Soul to Squeeze
10. Led Zeppelin - Going to California

Well, one of my lifelong dreams came true yesterday.....I was part of a protest. There have been alot of race issues going on here at Penn State this year, including some death threats to black students and a letter that said a black kid is dead in the woods somewhere, and the threat of a bomb at this year's graduation and alot of other nasty stuff. Some people here aren't too happy about the way the administration is handling all this, so they had this race rally yesterday, which turned into a sort of peaceful protest in which a bunch of people ended up camping out waiting to talk to my school's goofy President about the incidents and whatnot. Well I found myself a part of the crowd yesterday, holding hands with two dudes and praying for God to help us see past hatred, etc. etc. and marching around like I had been time-warped to 1965 or something. I'm not really sure how I feel about everything that's being said and the way things are being done but at least I can tell my kids someday that I was a radical protesting maniac in college.

So my parents tell me the other day that my dog Maggie has to see a "dog psychiatrist." That's right - a dog psychiatrist. She has this problem where she gets hyper like when theres thunderstorms or even when just the wind blows, she craps in the house and hides and whatnot. Well she was takin these tranquilizers to calm her down, but they werent workin good, so my parents tried to get something a little stronger....and the vet says she cant have them until we make an appointment with a dog psychiatrist who comes to our house - when the whole family is present, mind you - to "assess the problem." Now, call me crazy, but somehow this seems like a ploy to get more of my parents cash. I mean, what exactly is this so-called "psychiatrist" gonna do, ask my dog to draw some pictures of what she's feeling inside, or hypnotize her, or put her on a 12-step program? Can't they just put Maggie on Valium like the rest of the world? But seriously, her problem doesn't sound like anything that a few lashes from the old belt won't fix. Just kidding!

Yeah so my draft predictions were right...Michael Vick was the first pick by the Atlanta Falcons....too bad he's illiterate and he's only thrown like 300 passes in his college football career.

The Giants traded up and got their man, cornerback Will Allen. The Giants are looking good, they basically have the same team intact again this year, with the addition of DE Kenny Holmes and now Allen...if Kerry Collins can get over his Superbowl performance I can totally see them getting back to the big game this season and finishing what they started last year...I cant wait.

In other sports news, the pathetic Philadelphia Flyers exited in the first round of the NHL playoffs once again this year...The Flyers exited in style with an 8-0 loss to the Buffalo Sabres, the team's worst defeat in their playoff history. Maybe they should consider getting the big man Eric Lindros back.....or better yet, Ron Hextall?

Oh and yesterday Run DMC was awesome! Man they put on a good show...Our Lady Peace, however, blew. But the Kings of Rock made up for it. Now I'm all in the mood for OZZFEST 2001, its only about 3 months away!!

Ok after months of scrutinizing college football team rosters and doing a team-by-team analysis of the NFL, I'm ready to give my prediction for tomorrow's draft:

Michael Vick will be the first pick.

Call me crazy but I figured I'd go out on a limb with this one. Anyway, the NFL draft "guru" Mel Kiper Jr. says the Giants are gonna take a CB, Will Allen from Syracuse, which wouldn't be a bad move, especially since Ronde Barber is off the free agent market. They need a tight-end too but they can take care of that in the second round. Lets just hope they dont get any busts this year.

David Lee Roth might be getting back with Van Halen...nice! But let's not get ahead of ourselves, this is like the 1,000th rumor I've heard about a Diamond Dave/VH reunion...I'll believe it when I see it.

In other news, tomorrow I'm going to see the one and only Run DMC in concert at the annual Movin On free concert here at PSU. There's some other junk bands like Our Lady Peace and American Hi-Fi, plus some local yokel bands, but I gotta check out Run DMC, I saw them in '99 at the Family Values tour and they were awesome. I just hope they dont bring like the Third Eye Blind guy or Kid Rock out, they've got like a guest star on every track of their new album, and from what I've heard, it blows. Come on guys, keep it old-skool.

Also tomorrow is the big annual Penn State football Blue-White scrimmage game, it should be awesome as well. We're planning on doing a little tailgating, checkin out the new additions to the stadium, and seeing how bad our team sucks this year. No I'm kidding, we'll be good and we'll definitely make a bowl game this year. The big question mark is our new starting quarterback Matt Senneca...but he can't possibly be any worse than Rashard Casey...that bum.

And finally, I thought I'd share with you the current playlist of songs that are being played on the radio station that's in my head. I like to call it WJAY. (God I'm a loser.)

1. Judas Priest - Green Manalishi
2. Wu Tang Clan - Reunited
3. Elton John - Tiny Dancer
4. Pissing Razors - Domination (Pantera cover)
5. Black Label Society - No More Tears 2000
6. Billy Joel - And So It Goes
7. Grand Master Flash - White Lines
8. Manfred Mann - Blinded By the Light
9. Sepultura - Cut-Throat
10. Staind - Me

You've gotta check this out, its awesome.

Oh and I added a new mp3....Weezer has finally returned, they have a new album coming out on May 15 called The Green Album, for now you can check out the first single, "Hash Pipe."

Congrats to my main man Al-Dawg for getting into Bloomsburg University! Next year we'll be about an hour and a half away from each other, we're gonna have to cause some trouble together, rock n roll style.

Redneck Joke of the Day:

If your car and its engine are more than 10 feet away from each other....you might be a redneck.

You've gotta check out this site if you like toys or action figures, its got almost everything imaginable....some of my favorites are the Brooke Shields, George Burns, and Uncle Jesse action figures. And how could I forget, this Monkees figure has to be the best. Thanks to Mike for passing the site on to me.

I know you all remember Boo Berry Cereal that wonderful breakfast food with the blue ghost on the box, it came out the same time as Count Chocula and Frankenberry cereal, but I havent seen it in years! Well guess what, according to The Official Boo Berry Page, its still sold in a select few parts of the country....and better yet, you can even buy it online!! (even though you can only order an $18 four-pack, or if you're really insane, a case for like $70). According to my painstaking research, in NJ you can find Boo Berry in "the Vineland area (at Daunoras), Edison area (at Edward's Supermarket), and Linden area (at Edward's Supermarket)" so if anybody wants to take a road trip, I'm game. Also, I found out there were other monster cereals including Fruit Brute (some werewolf guy) and Yummy Mummy (I think I remember him), but sadly, these two have been discontinued :( Anyway, go to the site and take a trip down memory lane...oh and by the way, someone could buy me that Boo Berry cereal t-shirt on there if they wanted to, hint hint.

Redneck Joke of the Day:

You might be a redneck if your prom dress was knitted.

I'm finally back after a looong Easter break, I'm fully refreshed and ready to tackle the next two weeks of school. Thats right, only two more weeks of classes, and then its summer time for me (except for the one final i have to come back to take on May 4th - but let's not get bogged down by tiny details).

The weekend was awesome, fun times were had by all. There was only one thing missing...I heard about this website that lists places in my lovely home state of NJ that are supposedly "haunted" or otherwise weird, we got inspired and wanted to check something out, but we couldnt seem to locate anything on a map, I dont know if they are all made up or what. I still would like to go to someplace along these lines so if you New Jersyans have any ideas please let me know...the Tattletown Bridge is getting kind of old, and it's not quite scary enough. When I say scary, I'm talkin piss-your-pants scary.

Oh and I added a new mp3, you may know it from Transformers the Movie (perhaps one of my favorites of all time), it was also featured in Boogie Nights, so check it out.

Just added a movie review page to the site, check it out. The reviews will be written by my good pal Mike, his section is called Reviews by the Jew.....don't ask. JEN ZAK ROCKS.

Last night I dreamt that I was at Dunkin Donuts with my friends and I had a strawberry-frosted donut. But not just any strawberry-frosted donut.....it also had creme filling!! I can't ever recall seeing or eating a donut of this kind, but damn it was good. According to the Dunkin Donuts website, they don't currently sell such a donut...but can anyone tell me if they have ever eaten one, either at Dunkin Donuts or elsewhere? This is really gonna bother me, I might end up creating my own.

Happy Birthday to my friend Sean Greene, aka Sean-Dogg (the Pimp of Delaware) who turns 20 today. Did you know Sean-Dogg shares his birthday with acclaimed actor Dennis Quaid, star of Jaws 3 and Great Balls of Fire! - The Jerry Lee Lewis Story? Well anyway....happy birthday to you my friend.

I have an mp3 section now added to the site. The first selection is by a band called Sheavy, they sound alot like Black Sabbath, which is awesome. Give it a listen, yo.

Just added the cd review page, where I give my own personal comments on a variety of cd's, check it out, i'll add more pretty regularly. Email me if you have a particular cd you want me to review...and thanks again to my girlfriend Jen for the help :)

Last night we saw a hypnotist, it was pretty hilarious. I was skeptical of that sort of thing, but after he convinced this dude that his name was "Tinkerbell", I was a believer.

My fabulous girlfriend Jen is coming up to visit on Tuesday, and boy am I excited!!!. :) :) :) I can't wait to show her what Penn State life is all about. We're gonna have a whole lotta rowdy fun, PSU-style......yeah baby! 88 hours and counting.....

My Fall 2001 schedule is finally complete....I'll only have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays next year. That means 4 day weekends.....boo yahhh

Scheduling at Penn State is such a hassle. I'm trying to enter the Philosophy minor, and it's a major pain in my ass...I'm listening to some Slayer to help soothe my nerves...ahh the joys of heavy metal.

Speaking of heavy metal, Increate recently broke up, which is really a shame, cuz their cd is awesome. But maybe now when some of the ex-members reform, i'll get a chance to fulfill my lifelong dream of singing in a band. Yessssss.

Well, here it is, my very first webpage. I am so damn proud of myself. I am also so damn computer illiterate. Many thanks to my main man Ed Slavin for helping me out....check out his webpage why dontcha. I'll add more to this once I figure out what the heck I'm doing.
