A little music news (courtesy of blabbermouth.net)...

Unsubstantiated rumors indicate that the new band of former RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE members Tim Commerford (bass), Brad Wilk (drums), and Tom Morello (guitar), along with ex-SOUNDGARDEN frontman Chris Cornellwho are reportedly calling themselves CIVILIANwill be making their first live appearances this spring/summer as the support act for TOOL. CIVILIAN's Rick Rubin-produced debut CD is expected to surface during the summer.

R-A-M-S RAMS RAMS RAMS!!!!

Results from the 2002 Chunky Soup Bowl: Kurt Warner 29, Donovan McNabb 24. Contrary to what the Philly fans would have told you up until today, the Eagles willnot be headed to New Orleans next week as the Rams put them out of their misery. The
Birds' mighty run defense held Marshall Faulk to only 159 yards (84 at halftime) but that wasnt enough as the Rams' RB had two TDs and Warner hooked up with Isaac Bruce for another. I'll admit the Eggles did keep it close, they had the ball at their own 45 with 2:20 left but McNabb could only manage a 2 yard pass, then a 1 yard run by DUCE, then an incompletion, then with the Superbowl on the line, 4th and 7 at their 48, Chunky Mcnabbs pass is......picked off by Aeneas Williams and its over! Sorry Eagles, had a good run there, but as you Philly fans perpetually like to say, "NEXT YEAR........"

Other game didnt turn out quite as I expected, the Miracle Pats pulled off the upset again......I knew the Steelers would crumble but I didnt think itd happen in this game. My condolences to my buddy The Rick and the other Steelers faithful out there, but in the back of their mind they had to see it comin. Kordell threw three picks, meanwhile my main man Drew Bledsoe came in in relief and was able to lead New England to victory....Maybe he won himself a start in the Superbowl and a chance at redemption after their loss a couple years back to the Pack. At the very least, he won himself a job with the Houston Texans next year.... Anyway SB XXXVI should be pretty interesting, hope its a close one. Ill have my synopsis of the big game later on in the week.

This weekend me and Jen tried somethin crazy...have you heard the rumors about the Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz connection? Supposedly the music to Dark Side of the Moon and the classic movie are synchronized if you start them at the right time. Well we tried it out last night....I dunno, I didnt really see any mind-blowing stuff, Im pretty sure we timed it just right though....at one point in Us and Them, the lyric black.......and blue.... matched up almost perfectly with shots of the Wicked Witch (black) and Dorothy (blue), but not a whole lot more than that. But there was definitely something going on, more than just a coincidence, like the tempo and volume changes in the songs really seemed to match up with changes in the movie. Like the beginning of Money, you know when the cash registers and then the bass kicks in, that was just as Dorothy stepped out of the house and she saw Oz in color.....it was pretty cool but I think you had to be stoned to get the full effect (which we werent).

Alright thats about it for now, Ill leave you with some Ozzy news....

Thanks to overwhelming positive response (from two people), I've got some more old school logos to share with you. Enjoy.

Negro leagues yo....what exactly is a black cracker??

The ORIGINAL Colorado Rockies....on ice.

How phat is the condors logo? It'd make a nice tattoo...

I think KFC sponsored them.

Hamilton Tigers....I could have drawn that...in fourth grade. That's Chicago Cubs on the end.

Philadelphia Bells, I forget what sport but its pretty cool.

Cleveland Cavaliers again, and not one but two incarnations of the Seattle Pilots baseball team logo.

I've got plenty more, I'll post em sometime soon.
