Ohhhhhhhhh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit..........new Indiana Jones movie!!!!! I've been waiting for this for a long time, it should be awesome. I just hope its not some kind of prequel with Brad Pitt as a young Indiana Jones Sr. or something. Cuz that would be whack.

Street hockey countdown: 2 days. I've been waiting to get my hockey on for about a year now, finally I'm getting my chance....my friends Mike, Steve and Mark are currently playing on a team vying for the coveted Sayen Cup at Sayen Middle School......they're down 2 games to 1 in their playoff series against some local scrubs......as soon as their series wraps up they're going to reform teams and begin another series, and that's where I come in..........god I can't wait to play. Saturday we're just going to have a mess around game so it will be a good chance to get up to skating shape and display my skills so they let me in their series. It's gonna be intense, let me just say that......

I've been listening to alot of Nirvana lately....I was a fan back in the day but I hadnt listened to their stuff in a couple years......then I got the Rolling Stone issue which has an article about Kurt Cobain's widow, the hideous Courtney Love, and how shes suing the remaining members of Nirvana over some unreleased songs and stuff........all I have to say is that shes a huge bitch, they need to release those songs, and everybody should check out their stuff......two of my favorites are their Unplugged in NY cd and their final studio album, In Utero, give them a listen........

Alright here are some more tunes I'm digging, give them a listen:

1. Mad Season - "River of Deceit"
2. Led Zeppelin - "Down By the Seaside"
3. Red Hot Chili Peppers - "By the Way"
4. Superjoint Ritual - "F*** Your Enemy"
5. Michael McDonald - "I Keep Forgettin'"
6. Green Day - "Waiting"
7. A Tribe Called Quest - "Check the Rhyme"
8. Nirvana - "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" (unplugged)

Check out these creepy ass photos Ed took in Mike's basement the other night.....see if you can find out which one is me....

My new favorite NBA player: Vlade Divac.

My new favorite pasttime: Tennis. Me and jen have played some heated matches over the past few weeks even though we dont know what the heck we're doing. Still, its alot of fun, and with my new titanium racket I bought yesterday I'm ready to open a can of whoop-ass...

I've said this before on here but I'll say it again........check out the new Soilwork cd entitled "Natural Born Chaos"...in my mind its one of the best cds of 2002 thus far...its heavy but its got these melodic choruses that I can't get out of my head.....great stuff.

Also, I came across some mp3s of demo versions for the upcoming Rage Against the Machine/Chris Cornell project...I don't know if it'll ever come out because there are rumors that they've broken up already......but anyway the mp3s arent great quality but the songs are pretty cool, its kind of slower, jazzy type stuff, some of it is pretty dark, its pretty cool though and its definitely an interesting combination.........try to find some of the mp3s online or just ask me and I can hook you up.

1. Aaron Lewis of Staind - "Black" (Pearl Jam cover - live)
2. Rush - "Sweet Miracle"
3. Blackalicious - "Make You Feel That Way"
4. Dimension Zero - "They Are Waiting to Take Us"
5. Iron Maiden - "Moon Child"
6. 311 - "Amber"
7. Lamb of God - "Confessional"
8. Soilwork - "As We Speak"
9. Kiss - "God Gave Rock and Roll To You"
10. Rage Against the Machine - "No Shelter"

Believe it or not, I got to cover a Trenton Thunder minor league baseball game yesterday........check out my article in today's Trentonian sports section...

I also saw Episode II again yesterday along with Jen, my bro and my dad......and again it was awesome. The first hour was still pretty slow, I wish they could have condensed it down a little more.......anyway, now I'm just counting down till Episode III, I still have alot more questions.........and my dad swears they're going to make three more movies after that (sequels to the original trilogy) as George Lucas originally planned to when he first wrote the story....I dont think it'll happen but you never know, theres a ton of money to be made.......damn that would be awesome.

Finally, a day off....

Yes, Episode II ruled.......they really made up for the disappointment of Episode I, I'll admit the movie was pretty slow for the first half and also had some extremely corny parts, but the second half made up for it in a big way. I'll hopefully see it again this weekend, and I cant wait for Episode III. You must think I'm a big nerd but I really don't care.

In other news, I'm going to see Blink 182 yet again for an unprecedented and historic fourth time. Jen and I are taking my cousin Sean to see them and Green Day next week, he is a huge Blink fan so it should be a good time. A very, very good time.

Man I can't wait to play some street hockey...

Check these songs out:

1. Nirvana - "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle"
2. Rush - "One Little Victory"
3. The Cardigans - "Iron Man" (Black Sabbath cover)
4. Iced Earth - "Watching Over Me" (live)
5. Down - "Bury Me in Smoke"
6. Kelly Osbourne f. Incubus - "Papa Don't Preach"
7. Staind - "Epiphany"
8. Demons & Wizards - "Heaven Denies"
9. Opeth - "Bleak"
10. Lynyrd Skynyrd - "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe"

Star Wars ruled last night.......I'd say more but i gotta run, goin to work and then a softball game somewhere, and I'm sooo tired......peace.

Wednesday, May 15, 2002
In case you missed it, I had an article in the sports section of the Trentonian (our local trash rag of a paper)....it was on the athlete of the week, some local HS baseball player.....anyway it came out pretty good, they already asked me to cover some prep softball tournament tomorrow in north jersey, so I guess I must be doin somethin right.....or they know that I'm a softball expert.

Star Wars Episode II countdown: 4 hours!!!!!!! That's right, I'm going to the very first showing at midnight tonight at AMC.....I've got my tix in hand baby and I'm pumped!! Now all I need to finish my Queen Amidala costume and makeup........

I wanna give a special Mother's Day shoutout to all the moms out there, especially my mom...

Star Wars Episode II countdown: 4 days!!!!!!

Anybody else find all this Osbournes media overload funny? CNN had like a whole profile on him that even talked about Black Sabbath and Randy Rhoads and everything....never in a million years could I have imagined all this would happen. It's alright though, Ozzy still rules even though he's soooo mainstream.

Thursday, May 09, 2002
Well the summer is in full swing, and that means it's time to get to work.......its my first week at TWO jobs, still regulating at the bike shop and now typing up some sports crap at the Trentonian, its goin decent so far, but I'm ready for the nice weather to kick in and my old skool crew to get home from their various colleges so we can kick it H-Town style.....which includes Golden Dawn diner and the local AMC movie theater....good times, good times

Speaking of movies, Star Wars Episode II countdown: one week!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LET THE SUMMER BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right, another year of college is all finished and I'm back in H-Town and ready to let the good times begin....

First off I've got big news, I have a new job this summer at The Trentonian, I'll be working part-time for the sports dept.....nothing special but a good start in the business and good to get on my resume. Don't worry though, I'll still be at Anthony's Bicycle Trail part time as well....

Jen, my bro and I saw Spider-Man last night......I have to say I enjoyed it alot. Being a spider-man fan it was pretty true to the character and I found the story most entertaning, even though I had some doubts....some corniness to it but that was expected, its based on a comic book after all....but some of the effects were great and it was a fun movie, go check it out.

Countdown to Star Wars Episode II: 12 days

Aaaaaaaaand the Sixers are out of the playoffs in the first round also. Suckers, I told you.

Well thats it for now, hope to hear from all my H-Town buds soon and make this a summer to remember...
